Burnham FC welcomes the Wycombe Wanderers Women

Following the growth and increased exposure for the women’s game, Burnham Football Club is proud to announce that the Wycombe Wanderers Women will train and play their home fixtures at the 1878 Stadium for the 2022 – 2023 season. Local girls who aspire to play the game at a high level can now come on a match day and learn from these role models.

As with all teams who play and train at the 1878 Stadium, the Wycombe Wanderers Women will benefit from the club’s facilities including the new state of the art 3G artificial pitch, free parking, covered stand and The Blues Bar and Café where hot and cold food and refreshments are served.

Burnham Football Club’s Media and Marketing Director Paul Butler explains, “We are delighted to welcome the Wycombe Wanderers Women to the 1878. Everyone associated with the club is very excited and we wish them every success for the coming season.”
