Burnham 3 – 3 Southall | 2023-2024 Preseason friendly finale

Burnham finished off their preseason campaign with a very entertaining draw at home to Southall, in a very evenly fought contest Burnham came back from 2 nil down to take a second half lead courtesy of a quick fire double from Jack Penton and a third from Firas Chniba who squeezed the ball underneath the keeper from 12 yards out, the scores were leveled soon after when new 1878 stadium residents Southall equalized following an initial good save from keeper Carl Dennison, and despite further chances for both sides the game finished 3.3.
The home draw rounded off a 6 match preseason schedule for Burnham, manager Ben Murray now takes his side to Easington Sports in the FA cup extra preliminary round on Saturday where the new competitive season kicks off .
