Josh, Alfie and Zach warm up with the first team on match day

Three of our Burnham Under 13s had a behind the scenes warm up session with our first team on Saturday. Josh, Alfie and Zach met with manager Ben Murray before spending time on the pitch warming up with the first team players for the game against Chalfont St Peter.

The lads returned to The 1878 Stadium after their own training session earlier that day and following an initial welcome briefing with coach Adam Barnard, were escorted by goal keeper Carl Dennison to meet the rest of the players for a pre-match kick about.

The three then took up their positions in front of the main stand as the whistle blew for the start of the Combined Counties Premier League North fixture, acting as ball boys for the afternoon.
