Fresh talent for Burnham FC for the 2023-2024 season
Burnham FC have several new faces in the squad as manager Ben Murray prepares for the new 2023-2024 league season and cup competitions. As we say goodbye to Rhys Harper (now with Marlow FC) we welcome the following to The 1878 Stadium:
- Ian Davies – This former Binfield and Ascot United striker will help us both on and off the pitch in a player/ coach capacity.
- Jenyo Balogun – Previously with Chalfont and Reading City Jenyo was nominated for goal of the year in the FIB Awards recently. A real talent and a great asset for the squad.
- Jonathan Denton – Previously with Binfield and Ascot, a player with bags of experience and a great attitude.
- Fran Naut – Coming from FC Deportivo Galicia Fran has pace and determination. He’s a threat, and he’s now with the blues…
- Louis Endean – Returning to Burnham FC from a spell at Penn & Tylers Green last season, Louis will help boost our defensive element.
- Lamin Sankoh – Previously with Aylesbury, Marlow, Aldermaston FC and Thatcham Town Lamin is a winger who isn’t afraid to shoot.
- Chris Ellis (photo coming) – A familiar face, ex- Ascot United star Chris retired in May but obviously isn’t ready to hang up his boots just yet.
- Ryan Murad – Previously with Kensington Ballers Ryan has integrated well and looks sharp.
- Jack Penton – After saying goodbye at the end of last season JP returns to us for another year from Bracknell Town.
