Jamie Mitchell’s 100th appearance
Defender Jamie Mitchell made his 100th appearance against Milton United yesterday. Coming on in the second half of the game he immediately made an impact with Burnham eventual 3-1 winners.
Originally from Dundonald Northern Ireland he came to Burnham FC from Holmer Green and made his debut in a 1-1 FA Cup draw against Easington Sports on 06/08/22.
Jamie likes to attack down the left and he is quick to get back into position when defending. Jamie’s wife and their young daughter cheered from the sidelines along with other members of the family.
Everyone at the club is very proud of Jamie’s achievement and we value his hard work ethic and commitment to Burnham Football Club over the last 3 seasons. A follower of the Christian faith, after the game he thanked God for being blessed. Moving up into 6th position in the Combined Counties Football League Premier Division North Burnham now face Virginia Water away at Arbour Park on Tuesday night, returning to The 1878 Stadium for our last home game of the season against Wokingham Town on Saturday 15th March.
