Luca Skivington Memorial Football Match 2024

The 1878 Stadium, Burnham Football Club | Sunday 4th August 2024

Burnham Football Club is yet again the venue for this very special charity match to celebrate the life of Luca Skivington. On Sunday 4th August friends of the family will gather at The 1878 Stadium in memory of the young, very talented and hugely missed Burnham FC, and former Oxford United and Fulham FC academy footballer who lost his life at the age of just 17 in a car crash in 2019.

His parents Michele and Glenn and his younger brother Marco have agreed to hold this event for a 2nd year following the success of the first year’s event in 2023, which raised an impressive £4K+ for Centre Point, which has been the family’s and Luca’s charity for many years.

Organised again by his friends, many of whom play for or manage Maidenhead Rangers FC, it will, once more, include a raffle to add to funds which currently total over £17K already raised for Centre Point through his Just Giving page. Add Gift Aid to this and the total raised so far is just over £20K.

We encourage local businesses to donate to the raffle if they can by getting in touch directly with either Michele Skivington (michele@burnhamleisure.co.uk) at Burnham Football Club or Elliott Jack, vice Chairman of Maidenhead Rangers FC.
