Preseason training begins for some of Burnham’s first team
Preseason training began for some of our first team players recently. Assistant manager Kavi Luchowa assisted by Adam Barnard took the group for some conditioning sessions to build stamina and get the preseason training for 2023-2024 underway.
Burnham FC play their first friendly for this season on Saturday 1st July at home against close neighbours Slough Town, kick off 5:30pm. A local derby that usually brings in a good crowd for the club.
Anas Igozouln remained in the stands while he continues his recovery from a shoulder injury at the end of last season. Burnham and England’s number one GK Carl Dennison has returned from his world Cup adventures with the national 6-aside squad, playing in the World Cup in Essen Germany earlier this summer.
