Slough Town Challenge Competition – Senior Cup Final
Friday 15th April 2022 | Kick Off: 10:30
The 1878 Stadium, Burnham Football Club
Burnham Football Club opened its doors this Easter weekend and welcomed finalists from both Singh Sabha FC v Old Windsor FC for this year’s Slough Town Senior Cup Final.
Following a two-year absence due to the pandemic Singh Sabha were hoping to retain the cup following their last victory back in 2019.
The 1878 Stadium was buzzing with excitement as the two clubs, officials from Slough Town and representatives from the East Berkshire Football League gathered in the glorious sunshine alongside a big crowd of onlookers for this traditional Good Friday event.
Singh Sabha’s Pritpal Raju took the lead initially. However, Old Windsor eventually claimed victory following goals from Joe Richards and Harry Farnam.
Everyone associated with Burnham Football Club would like to congratulate manager Darren Wareham and the players at Old Windsor FC on their victory. While also sending commiserations to Zufran Ashgar and the lads from Singh Sabha.
